Qualifications

• 1 year experience in property management maintenance performing duties of a Maintenance Technician.
• Ability to use general maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Maintenance Director to evaluate and address routine maintenance needs.
• Assist with minor repairs including carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, and preventative maintenance.

Schedule: Part-Time with weekend availability

Salary: $16.00-$17.00/hour – based on experience

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Maintenance Assistant.

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with Maintenance Director to evaluate and address routine maintenance needs.
• Care for the community and residents' maintenance needs as if they were your own home and family.
• Assist with fire and life safety training and drills as needed.
• Respond to requests for maintenance through reports and logs.
• Assist with minor repairs including carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, and preventative maintenance.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• 1 year experience in property management maintenance performing duties of a Maintenance Technician.
• Ability to use general maintenance tools and equipment such as hand tools, pressure washers, paint equipment, pool chemicals, ladders, landscaping tools, etc.
