Job summary

The Overlook Senior Living in Georgia is seeking a Maintenance and Landscaping Technician to ensure the community operates efficiently. You will inspect the building, perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and manage landscaping to maintain curb appeal.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and reliability for on-call shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
  • Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques.
  • Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
  • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO TWO OTHER COMMUNITIES.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs.
  • Inspect the building for damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs.
  • Complete resident work orders.
  • Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced.
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks.
  • All landscaping for the community.
  • Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed.

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a hardworking Maintenance and Landscaping Technician to join our team!
