Job summary

The Overlook Monroe is seeking a Maintenance and Landscaping Technician for a part-time role in Monroe, GA. You will perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, inspect for damage, and handle landscaping to maintain curb appeal.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, are reliable team players, and able to respond to on-call requests during nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems.
• Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques.
• Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends.
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
• Inspect the building for damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs
• Complete resident work orders
• Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
• All landscaping for the community
• Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed

We’re looking for a hardworking Maintenance and Landscaping Technician to join our team! You’ll make sure our community is operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. The position will also be responsible for the landscaping, grass cutting and overall curb appeal of the community. Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
