Job summary

Unity Village is seeking a dependable Part-time Mail Processing Associate to accurately prepare, process, and package letters, booklets, and other printed materials for daily distribution on-site at Unity Village. The role emphasizes precision, timely handling, and collaboration with team members to ensure high-quality service for internal and external customers.

You will operate inserters, printers, cutters, tabbers, and pallet jacks, sort and fold mail, perform retypes and reprints as needed,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6 months experience in a distribution or shipping environment preferred.
• Meets deadlines with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn pallet jack training program.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate mail processing machinery and equipment used to process daily mail and other print jobs.
• Sort, fold, hand/machine insert letters and enclosures; process letter retypes and reprints; operate printers, cutters, tabbers and pallet jacks.
• Create, maintain, run shipping records and prepare shipments with proper labeling.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and assist with end-of-day processes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely, accurate distributions.
