Job summary

The Wesleyan in Georgetown, TX is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with an active Texas license to provide compassionate nursing care in our Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. The LVN will assess, plan, and implement resident care aligned with the resident plan of care and ensure quality, personalized service for each resident.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent patient care skills, and proficiency with online charting.

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
• Proven leadership ability and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with online charting and nursing technology.
• Compassionate, service-minded approach to senior care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, plan, and implement resident care plans for assigned residents.
• Administer or supervise prescribed medications and treatments.
• Supervise meals and fluid intake; report issues to physician or Director of Nursing.
• Ensure accurate charting and documentation of medications and treatments.
• Order supplies and equipment as needed.
• Oversee nursing staff and delegate responsibilities to ensure quality care.
• Maintain communication with residents' families during transfers.
• Uphold safety standards and regulations; perform minor housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Wellness Director or Administrator.
