Job summary

RICHARDSON in is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN Nursing Supervisor to direct nursing services in a long-term care facility. Lead nursing assistants, coordinate care plans, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations while maintaining a safe, compassionate environment for residents.

You will oversee charting, medication administration, staff development, safety protocols, and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess current, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Review and revise department policies and job descriptions as needed.
• Plan shifts, services, programs, and activities with staff.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and keep it current.
• Provide written and oral reports on shift activities.
