Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle invites you to join our team as a Part Time Olympic Bar Server. You will deliver attentive service, master the wine list, and contribute to a luxury guest experience on the floor.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, have 2+ years in high-volume dining, and demonstrate excellent communication. Work authorization in the USA and WA MAST permit are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years high-volume restaurant serving experience preferred.
• Luxury dining experience preferred.
• General knowledge of alcoholic beverages; wine-pairing knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with all menus including wine and beverage lists.
• Resets dining room according to meal period and table needs.
• Performs service prep duties: condiments, glassware, coffee, stock stations.
• Promotes daily/nightly specials to guests and offers product suggestions.
• Describes and recommends wine pairings to guests and serves wine.
• Ensures final quality check on food and beverages prior to service.
• Maintains clean, organized stations and supports team during shift.
• Adheres to proper credit card and cash handling procedures.
• Addresses guest issues promptly and professionally.
• Provides assistance to restaurant staff as needed.
