Job summary

All American Assisted Living is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Rhode Island to provide resident-centered nursing support under the supervision of nursing leadership. You will administer medications, monitor health, and support care plans for older adults, ensuring safety and quality of life.

The role requires RI LPN licensure, strong observation and communication skills, and the ability to work 24 hours per week, including every other Sunday, within the Wellness team.

Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island LPN license required.
• Knowledge of practical nursing standards and medication administration.
• Ability to monitor resident health and document changes accurately.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and care providers.
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per orders and Rhode Island requirements.
• Monitor residents for changes in health, cognition, and daily functioning.
• Provide direct nursing care within RI LPN scope of practice.
• Document health information and report findings.
• Participate in assessments and service-plan reviews under nursing leadership.
• Coordinate medication refills and communicate with pharmacies and providers.
• Support resident admissions, transitions, and changes in level of care.
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
