Job summary

Christian Living Communities (CLC) / Cappella Living Solutions (CLS) is seeking an LPN for daytime, part-time hours in Centennial, CO. The role involves organizing and directing resident care in compliance with regulatory standards, and coordinating with the care team to ensure safe medication administration and accurate documentation.

The position requires 1 year in long-term care (preferred), IV certification (preferred), and strong English communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• 1 year experience in overseeing and monitoring other staff preferred.
• IV certification preferred.
• Must have computer word processing and database experience.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize, direct and implement resident care per Company standards and state/federal regulations.
• Attend Resident Care conferences; maintain Resident Care Plans with accuracy and relevance.
• Prepare, administer and document medications per physician orders; order medications and replace expired ones.
• Document patient care issues and report them as required.
• Recognize signs and symptoms and choose appropriate treatment or procedures with proper judgment.
• Oversee and direct ancillary personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
