Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a Licensed LPN for a part-time position at a Primary Care Clinic in Washington, DC. The role involves diverse clinical duties, patient education, and coordination of care with an on-site healthcare team.

The schedule is 20-30 hours per week across 2-3 days plus every other weekend, with regular business hours and weekend coverage. Compensation is hourly and benefits are available to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN license.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccinations, injections, and medications per protocol.
• Record vital signs accurately and monitor patient condition.
• Perform routine and complex patient assessments and document responses.
• Provide emergency care in collaboration with on-site provider.
• Review medications for side effects and interactions.
• Conduct mental health screenings and document findings.
• Maintain comprehensive patient histories and EHR documentation.
• Educate patients on medications and self-care.
• Coordinate access to healthcare services and community resources.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers and team members.
• Handle patient registration, intake, scheduling and reminders.
• Support patient flow and waiting room management.
• Serve as chaperone during sensitive examinations with privacy.
