Job summary

Cedar County Memorial Hospital's Medical Mall Clinic is seeking a Part-Time LPN or Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will assist with patient care, documentation, exams, and daily clinic operations.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, documenting in the EMR, and supporting registration and referrals. Requires Missouri LPN license or MA program completion, EMR proficiency, and strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Missouri LPN license or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum of two years of medical clinic or physician office experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs (BP, temp, height, weight, etc.).
• Assist the provider with patient assessments and examinations.
• Document visits, care provided, and follow-up instructions in the EMR.
• Administer vaccinations and medications within scope of licensure.
• Support patient registration, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and equipment, and protect PHI confidentiality.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and clinic policies.
