Job summary

Sanford Health in Jackson, MN, is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 8-hour day shifts, every other weekend. The LTC setting requires nursing care across ages under supervision of a RN or physician. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available.

Responsibilities include med administration, documentation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure resident safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Must hold an unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board and/or multi-state licensure.
• Maintains required CEU and competency training as part of department and facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions, outcomes and care activities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to meet resident needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with residents and families.
