Job summary

Alomere Health is seeking a part-time LPN/CMA to support outpatient nursing in the Alexandria Clinic. The role involves direct and indirect patient care, coordinating with the Provider, and ensuring adherence to nursing standards and policies.

Responsibilities include delivering injections, administering prescribed treatments, and maintaining accurate chart documentation in the EMR. A flexible schedule with weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure and CMA certification preferred.
• Experience with outpatient nursing care and care coordination is advantageous.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and nursing quality initiatives like Meaningful Use/PQRS.
• Ability to deliver injections, immunizations, and medications per Provider orders.

Responsibilities

• Meet and follow nursing objectives and quality measures.
• Provide nursing care per Provider orders within scope of practice.
• Coordinate patient care efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare and administer injections, immunizations, and medications as prescribed.
• Document patient interactions thoroughly in the EMR.
