Job summary

Alexandria Clinic seeks a part-time LPN/CMA to support a Provider in an outpatient setting. You will assist with nursing care, prepare patients for procedures, administer meds, and coordinate documentation in the EMR system.

Responsibilities include delivering safe patient care, communicating with patients and families, and ensuring smooth workflow across shifts in the clinic. BLS and MN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Practical Nursing or Medical Assisting program.
• Current MN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing services under Provider direction in outpatient clinic.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical record.
• Coordinate patient care and communication with Providers and staff.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as prescribed.
• Prepare patient and room for procedures and assist Provider as needed.

LPN/CMAs participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, based on objectives, standards, and policies of nursing. They have the ability to handle a diverse range of situations and responsibilities, which is their primary duty.
