Responsibilities

• Provides direct and individualized care to an assigned group of patients under RN supervision.
• Assists in health teaching for residents and families.
• Contributes to planning and implementing nursing care plans.
• Participates in team conferences and shares information with the team.
• Administers medications per policy and documents appropriately.
• Performs nursing tasks within scope as competence grows.
• Participates in emergency care when needed.
• Communicates patient status to the team leader.
• Records information concisely and accurately.
• Engages in communication channels and committee activities.
