Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Part Time Dispensing Nurse (LPN) to join a treatment team. You will dispense prescribed medications, manage dispensing equipment, and maintain inventory with compliance to federal and state regulations.

The ideal candidate will have an active LPN license, CPR certification, EMR proficiency, and a compassionate approach to substance use disorder treatment.

Qualifications

• Current & good standing LPN license (state specified)
• CPR certification required
• EMR proficiency and computer skills desired
• Experience in chemical dependency preferred
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Administer daily medication to patients per policy and medical protocols
• Use automated dispensing systems and calibrate pumps
• Maintain records and reports per company protocol and regulations
• Ensure security standards for distribution and storage of controlled substances
• Order, receive and stock medications per DEA and state regulations
• Provide daily patient assessments
• Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff
• Other duties as determined by supervisor
