Job summary

Health Care Resource Center in Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse/ Licensed Vocational Nurse to dispense prescribed medications within a treatment team alongside physicians and supervisors.

The role requires MA LPN/LVN licensure, CPR certification, and familiarity with EMR systems. Prior experience in chemical dependency is preferred; the position includes benefits and a total compensation package.

Qualifications

Massachusetts LPN/LVN license current and in good standing.
Current CPR certification.
Experience with EMR systems and computer proficiency.
Experience in chemical dependency preferred; positive attitude toward individuals in treatment.
Satisfactory drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Administer daily medication to patients per policy and protocols.
Operate automated dispensing systems and calibrate pumps.
Maintain dispensing equipment and records as required by policy and regulations.
Ensure compliance with security standards for controlled substances.
Manage medication inventory and ordering per DEA/state regs.
Provide daily patient assessments and support to Nursing Supervisor.
Orient new nursing staff and perform other duties as assigned.
