Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the day shift in the Skilled Nursing unit at Oro Valley Hospital in Arizona. The LPN will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, administer medications, and support care plans to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications include 0-1 years of LPN experience, valid LPN or LVN license, and BCLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under RN supervision, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Administers medications and injections as prescribed.
• Develops, implements and evaluates patient care plans.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient care and observations.
• Educates patients and families on health maintenance and post-discharge care.
• Responds to medical emergencies and supports code team interventions.
