Lifeskills Behavioral Health in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our residential treatment team. You’ll perform nursing assessments, administer medications, transcribe physician orders, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team in a 24/7 staffed setting.

Must hold a Florida LPN license and an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing; CPR/First Aid certification required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Florida LPN license and have an associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Active First Aid/CPR/AED certification required.
• Clear TB skin test or chest X-ray.
• Psychiatric nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with medication administration and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Provides a comprehensive nursing assessment identifying medical needs.
• Records and transcribes physician orders and carries out STAT orders.
• Coordinates medications, pharmacy and laboratory orders, and refills.
• Administers medications and injections per physician orders.
• Documents observations in Best Notes and maintains the care plan.
• Prepares clients for discharge with counseling and written instructions.
• Ensures infection control and safety within the facility.
• Collaborates with the treatment team to support recovery.
