Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an Assisted Living community in Lisle, IL. This part-time position provides licensed nursing services to residents under state and federal guidelines, including medication administration and care planning.

The role requires an active LPN license, CPR certification, English proficiency, and at least 1 year of senior care experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the practicing state.
• CPR certification required.
• English proficiency to perform duties and communicate in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per regulations and guidelines.
• Participate in admissions assessments and documentation.
• Develop and update acute/long-term care plans or service plans.
• Track clinical data under direction of director (e.g., wounds, infection control).
• Provide health-related consultation within the community.
• Notify physicians/family of health changes with proper documentation.
• Respond promptly to emergencies.
• Maintain communication with staff and departments.
• Deliver educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Discharge assessments and clinical documentation as needed.
