Role Description

This Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is an on-site position located in Nashville, TN. The LPN will provide direct patient care in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living environments, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, performing treatments, and assisting with activities of daily living. Day-to-day responsibilities include documenting patient status, reporting changes in condition to the supervising nurse or provider, and following individualized care plans. The role also involves collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, supporting family communication, and maintaining a safe, clean clinical environment. The LPN will adhere to all clinical protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting dignity, comfort, and respect for each patient.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Tennessee and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Clinical skills in medication administration, wound care, vital signs monitoring, and basic nursing procedures in post-acute or long-term care settings.
• Strong patient care, empathy, and communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ability to follow care plans, document accurately in electronic or paper medical records, and comply with regulatory, safety, and infection control standards.
• Reliable time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work part time, including possible evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living, or other post-acute care environments is preferred.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort using clinical software or electronic health records.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and ability to meet all occupational health requirements (e.g., immunizations, screenings).
