The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospitalin Manchester; TN, and we are looking for compassionate and dedicated LicensedPractical Nurses to join our Med Surg team.

This role offers the opportunity to provideexceptional patient care while working alongside a collaborative healthcareteam in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments andreassessments for patients of all ages (pediatric to geriatric) under RNsupervision
• Assess, reassess, manage, andeducate patients on pain management
• Monitor cardiac rhythms,dysrhythmia and recognize changes in patient status
• Perform point-of-care testing perClinical Laboratory’s & patient care unit’s policies and proceduresand interpret results
• Administer medications safely andmanage IV therapy (prepare, hand, monitor and discontinue) within scope ofpractice
• Follow the 5 medication rights andreduce the potential for medication errors
• Maintain accurate patientdocumentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Deliver safe, patient-centered carewhile addressing individual psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Provide age-appropriate care andpatient/family education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinaryteams to achieve quality outcomes
• Support unit operations, mentor newteam members, and assist with staff training

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPNprogram
• Current Tennessee LPN license &BLS certification
• One year of hospital experiencepreferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to interpret EKGs, labresults, and clinical data
• Strong written and verbal Englishcommunication skills; additional languages preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-pacedenvironment
