Job summary

Counseling of El Paso is seeking a licensed‑professional counselor associate to provide individual, couples, and group therapy in a private practice setting. The role focuses on assessing mental health concerns, developing treatment plans, and supporting clients with evidence‑based approaches.

The position offers afternoon and early evening hours, plus Saturday availability, with weekly supervision by a Texas/New Mexico Approved LPC/LPCC Supervisor and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling required.
• Eligible for LPC Associate Licensure.
• Experience counseling in clinical/private practice preferred.
• Knowledge of CBT and solution-focused therapy helpful.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples, and/or group counseling sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples, and/or group counseling sessions to assess and address clients’ mental health concerns.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients’ needs, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Provide guidance and support to clients in managing and coping with emotional and psychological challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling.
• Eligible for LPC Associate Licensure.
