Job summary

Symbios Health in Hilton Head Island, SC is seeking a Low Carb Nutritionist or Registered Dietitian to design and implement low-carbohydrate nutrition programs for weight management, metabolic health, and diabetes control. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team, provide individual and group counseling, and educate communities through seminars and telehealth options.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Certification: RDN/RD preferred; CNS or similar considered.
• Experience: 1–2 years in nutrition counseling, with low‑carb focus.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Skills: Knowledge of low-carb approaches, strong communication and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients, provide education, and conduct consultations in a weight-loss/metabolic program.
• Develop customized low-carb meal plans tailored to health needs and preferences.
• Counsel individually and in groups; participate in rounds with the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians and other providers to integrate nutrition plans.
• Track progress, adjust plans, and stay updated on nutrition science.
