Job summary

CVS Health via Omnicare is seeking a licensed Missouri pharmacist for its Long Term Care Pharmacy team. The role supports skilled nursing facilities with routine dispensing, quality checks, and regulatory compliance.

The position is part-time (20 hours/week) with a focus on safety, accuracy, and patient care. The successful candidate will have LTC experience, IV and immunization credentials, and a strong work ethic to deliver reliable service while maintaining proper DEA/state compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Missouri pharmacist license in good standing.
• Part-time schedule with 20 hours weekly.
• IV certification or prior IV experience preferred.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain it preferred.
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Check labels and orders for completeness and precision.
• Check drug packaging and labeling for content and accuracy.
• Prepare and supervise sterile IV products if required.
• Assist in maintaining perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.
• Know DEA and state laws governing controlled dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.
• Comply with HIPAA and all applicable regulations.
