Responsibilities

• Dispense and verify prescriptions following federal and state regulations.
• Provide clinical and therapeutic recommendations to physicians and patients as needed.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from client facilities and healthcare providers.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in billing and documentation information.
• Verify receipt of medications and supplies from wholesalers.
• Organize and audit controlled substance records and Emergency Kits.
• Support pharmacy safety standards and participate in inspections and audits.
