Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Pharmacist in Waseca, MN for a 13+ week contract in a specialty long term care setting. Must hold a PharmD and an active Minnesota license, with 1+ years of pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities include dispensing per LTC protocols, reviewing prescriptions for safety, collaborating with health care professionals, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM with some weekend shifts; up to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Pharmacist License (MN License)
• Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy preferred
• Strong knowledge of retail and specialty pharmacy practices
• PharmD or equivalent degree required
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage and dispense medications following Long Term Care pharmacy protocols
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and patient safety
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards related to pharmacy operations
• Provide patient counseling and support when appropriate
