Job summary

HIS Santa Monica is seeking a dedicated housekeeping cast member to maintain cleanliness in guest areas and public spaces. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, assist guests, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are met in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or public area experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms overhead to reach all above areas.
• Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed.
• Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
• Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Monitor cleanliness throughout assigned shift
• Restock supplies and report maintenance issues
• Assist guests with directions or basic inquiries
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
