Job summary

Shore Hotel is seeking a House Person in Santa Monica, CA. This full-time, non-exempt role assists in cleaning lobby and pool areas, supports Room Attendants, and helps maintain the hotel's cleanliness standards. Expect 5:00PM–1:30AM shifts, weekends required, and potential overnight work as needed.

The position requires at least 6 months of hotel experience and a high school diploma. English communication, physical stamina, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a hotel or similar setting.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean lobby, pool, and common areas per standards.
• Assist Room Attendants with room setup and turnover.
• Transport supplies and linen, restock carts, and maintain cleanliness.
• Report damages or maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Follow OSHA chemical handling guidelines and hotel safety procedures.
