Role Overview

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products customers need. As a Customer Service Associate/Loader, this involves:

• Being friendly, professional, and engaging customers to help answer questions.
• Retrieving, loading, and replenishing merchandise.
• Helping customers and staff move merchandise safely.

The Customer Service Associate/Loader assists customers by loading merchandise into their vehicles and replenishes shelves for the next customers. Safety is critical, as this role requires frequent lifting and moving of merchandise for staff and customers.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or supporting neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Full Time or Part Time: Generally scheduled for 39-40 hours or up to 25 hours per week, respectively; more hours may be required based on store needs.
• Availability required for mornings, afternoons, and evenings any day of the week.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, sitting, and lifting (minimum 25 pounds, with or without assistance).

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience with retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
• Ability to obtain any required sales-related licensure or registration.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months retail experience.
• 6 months experience as a Loader at a home improvement or hardware retailer.
• 6 months experience working in any department at Lowe's.
• 6 months retail merchandising experience, including zone recovery, stocking, facing, pricing, signage, and housekeeping.
• 6 months experience in inspecting, carrying, loading, or unloading products/materials in or out of vehicles.
