This position requires current DVU enrollment and legal work eligibility in the United States; prior farm or animal experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required documentation to verify identity and employment eligibility.
• Some farm and animal experience preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Feed livestock housed at the farm twice per day.
• Maintain a clean, healthy, and attractive facility.
• Assist with the herd health care tasks, including diagnosis and treatment of general health conditions across all three species housed at the Livestock Center.
• Assist with all aspects of livestock management, equipment operation and animal handling.
• Operate various equipment and heavy machinery around the farm.
• Assist with general maintenance of the facility.
• Maintain landscape areas such as mowing, trimming, and flower bed care.
• Other duties as assigned.
