City Of Cheyenne Civic Center is seeking a part-time Stagehand to staff productions as needed in Cheyenne, WY. This non-exempt, hourly role supports load-in, strike, and on-show duties across carpentry, rigging, lighting, audio, video, wardrobe, and general labor.

Positions vary by production and season, with shifts that may include nights and weekends. Applicants should have high school education or GED; prior backstage experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in backstage theater is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to follow backstage protocol.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Willingness to work irregular hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly and disassembly of show productions.
• Load in and strike productions.
• Operate lighting, video, and sound as directed.
• Move props and set pieces safely.
• Maintain positive working relationships with staff and patrons.
