Job summary

Auction.com is seeking an Associate Auction Coordinator for a part-time role in the Williamsburg/Newport News area. You will welcome guests, collect information, and support live auctions at courthouses, helping to deliver a smooth, timely bidding experience.

Travel up to 2 hours to surrounding county locations is required; a rental car is provided for journeys outside the primary territory. The schedule varies with auctions, typically 6–10 hours weekly, with 3–4 hours per auction day.

Qualifications

• Customer service-oriented role in live auctions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced auction environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and collect attendee information to ensure pre-auction requirements are met.
• Learn and share knowledge about Auction.com programs for attendees.
• Collect sensitive buyer/seller information with high data accuracy.
• Provide customer service to event attendees and maintain professionalism on-site.
• Handle cash and complete event reports as required.
