The ideal candidate is admitted to the Missouri Bar, with a Juris Doctor degree, and is capable of appearing in court, reviewing pleadings, and handling contested matters on a reduced-hour schedule while maintaining high professional

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Active admission to the Missouri Bar required.
• Kansas Bar admission preferred; additional licenses in states where the firm operates may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Appear in court on behalf of the firm in accordance with the part-time schedule.
• Review new claims for legal and procedural compliance.
• Review and approve pleadings for court filing, including complaints and motions.
• Draft motions and responses related to contested matters and argue motions.
• Handle trials and arbitrations as assigned and manage communications with opposing counsel.
