Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Consulting Part Time Litigation Attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their litigation skills in a flexible, part-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the litigation process. The selected candidate will work closely with our team of experienced attorneys to provide top-notch legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case development and strategy.
• Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, preparing clients for depositions, and conducting document review.
• Draft, review, and argue pre-trial motions, including motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, and discovery motions.
• Assist in trial preparation activities, including witness preparation, exhibit preparation, and trial strategy development.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they are fully informed of their rights and legal options.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
• Stay current on legal trends and case law to provide the most effective representation for our clients.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
• Proven experience in discovery and motion practice.
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal advice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
