Achievement Network (ANet) in Camden, NJ is seeking a Part-time Literacy Teacher Instructional Coach for grades 6–12. The role partners with teachers to strengthen student-centered literacy instruction and raise outcomes across four Camden campuses, with a focus on multilingual learners and students with disabilities.

The coach will support up to 40 literacy teachers, work 10–15 hours per week, travel to schools 60–70% on site, and report to the MD, Partner Experience and Impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of 6-12 Literacy teaching experience with evidence of impact, including multilingual learners and students with IEPs.
• Minimum 3 years of instructional coaching or teacher leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional coaching to teachers aligned to subject matter, school, and district priorities delivered through three structured teaching-and-learning cycles.
• Collaborate with school leaders to set instructional practice goals and develop strategies to enhance student-centered instruction and achievement.
• Engage stakeholders to address school priorities, analyze data, and develop comprehensive support plans for inclusion and opportunities for all students.
• Train teachers on effective implementation of Wit and Wisdom and MyPerspectives to improve student mastery and teaching practice.
• Integrate TeachFX analytics to gather real-time feedback aligned to coaching cycles.
• Ground observation and feedback in the Danielson Framework for Teaching (Domains 2 and 3) with connection to high-quality instructional materials.
• Participate in weekly team huddles and quarterly Communities of Practice and data meetings, contributing observations to coaching priorities.
• Lead professional development sessions for groups of teachers focused on instructional best practices and data analysis.
• Codify tools, coaching strategies, and ideas to improve ANet’s coaching effectiveness.
• Document progress notes, plans, and deliverables per guidelines.
