Carnegie Learning is seeking a part-time Professional Learning Specialist for Literacy/ELA to support K-12 educators using Carnegie Learning resources. The role emphasizes delivering engaging workshops, coaching cycles, and tailored PL sessions across districts and states within the Western territory.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Education with 3+ years teaching experience and is willing to travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years teaching experience in relevant field.
• Bachelor's degree in Education required.
• Residing within one of these states within the territory: Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, NewMexico, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming.
• Previous knowledge of Carnegie Learning resources preferred.
• Flexible schedule and availability during the summer and/or school year.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or managing teachers and/or delivering professional learning (preferred).
• Understanding of school and district infrastructure including technology environments and management.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging professional learning workshops, including initial implementation workshops, virtual workshops, and conference presentations.
• Deliver job-embedded professional learning, including coaching cycles, demonstration lesson cycles, co-teaching, lesson planning, and PLC facilitation.
• Design and deliver custom professional learning workshops according to partner needs.
• Develop correlations, custom curriculum, rubrics and other documents to support PL partner needs.
• Support the sales team in pre- and post-sales environments including RFP design and pilot opportunities.
• Provide Tutoring Services to CL customers as desired/available.
• Other duties as assigned or apparent.
