Job summary

Hershey Social Restaurant + Bar is seeking a Part-Time Team Member to join the opening kitchen crew in downtown Hershey. You will prepare dishes to standardized recipes, maintain a clean workstation, and collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service.

Responsibilities include executing tasks on pantry, sauté, broil, fry, and dessert stations, following plating guidelines, and upholding health and sanitation standards. Must be 16+ and reliable in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have proficient knife skills and the ability to follow standardized recipes.
• Ability to efficiently set up and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Experience coordinating with kitchen staff and expeditor to ensure timely service.
• Ability to assist with inventory management and stock control.
• Comfort with high-volume service and handling multiple stations (pantry, sauté, broil, fry, dessert).
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation guidelines, and ServSafe standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute dishes to exacting standards on assigned stations.
• Maintain station cleanliness and proper stocking before, during, and after service.
• Follow recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency across menu items.
• Communicate with kitchen team to ensure timely ticket completion.
• Monitor quality and presentation of dishes before serving.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including allergen information.
