Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food as the menu indicates; boiling, frying, broiling, steaming or roasting of items.
• Prepare food including washing, peeling and chopping.
• Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Operate grinders, tenderizers, ranges, fryers, broilers, and toasters.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble kitchen equipment.
• Ensure equipment is well maintained and report defects to the kitchen manager.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness to meet health standards.
• Inspect and clean food prep areas to ensure safe handling practices.
• Monitor product use to prevent waste and depletion.
