Job summary

Guest Services is seeking a Line Cook for Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, CA. You will assist kitchen staff with daily production, preparation, and presentation of all food, ensuring safety and sanitary standards.

The role requires at least one year of culinary knowledge and a Food Safety certification; previous customer service experience is valued. Part-time schedule with emphasis on quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of culinary knowledge.
• Food safety certification and strong sanitation habits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook items according to recipes, daily menus, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain and rotate all food items to ensure quality; date and label items and practice FIFO.
• Clean and inspect kitchen equipment, appliances and work areas to ensure cleanliness and operation.
• Operate food station, including station checklist, temperature log, signage, and related tasks.
