Job summary

Maumee Bay Lodge and Conference Center is seeking an experienced AM Line Cook to prepare breakfast and lunch items for The Water's Edge Restaurant and banquets. You will showcase high standards of presentation, preparation, and cooking skills to dazzle guests.

Most shifts run 6am–2pm, with earlier starts possible based on scheduling needs. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, and vision after 60 days, PTO after 1 year, holiday pay, 401(k), and various discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking eggs and breakfast items.
• Experience with grill, fryer, broiler and sauté cooking.
• Availability to work mornings; weekends and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or direct preparation of breakfast and lunch items using established production procedures.
• Learn menus, recipes, preparation, and presentation.
• Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards.
• Correctly prepare all food following standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours to preserve quality, temperature, and appearance.
• Keep work area neat and clean; maintain equipment used in food preparation.
• Work with servers to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve food service issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Maumee Bay Lodge and Conference Center is seeking candidates for an experienced AM Line Cook responsible for cooking Breakfast & Lunch items for the Water's Edge Restaurant and Banquet events.
