The Addison of Narcoossee, a Sonida Senior Living community in Saint Cloud, FL, is seeking a part-time Culinary Services Cook. The role supports dining services with meal preparation, serving, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities include planning and serving meals for assigned shifts, maintaining orderly dining areas, and ensuring proper labeling and storage of leftovers.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• Some supervisory experience preferred; ability to read recipes, work in a team, handle flexible shifts, and communicate effectively.

• Plans, prepares, and serves attractive, nutritious meals in a sanitary manner.
• Maintains an organized and efficient Dining Services department.
• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Maintains dining service standards including service delivery and cleanliness.
• Cleans after preparation and service; maintains work area and equipment.
• Ensures leftovers are labeled, dated, and stored properly.

Culinary Services CookResponsibilities include:

• Plans, prepares, and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized, timely, and sanitary manner.
• Assists the Culinary Services Director in maintaining a well-organized and efficient Dining Services department.
• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Maintains standards for dining services to the Residents to include efficient meal service delivery, customer service and cleanliness of the dining room and kitchen.
• Clean after preparation and service; work area, pots and equipment.
• Ensures all leftovers are covered, labeled, dated and stored in the proper place.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
• High Experience and/or knowledge of volume meal preparation and serving for large groups.
• Some supervisory experience preferred. Ability to read and understand recipes, work in a team environment, work flexible shifts, handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing
