Marquette University Medical Clinic is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to provide clinic-based health care for students on campus. The RN works independently following established medical protocols and serves as a healthcare resource and advocate for students and families.
Responsibilities include immunizations, vaccines oversight, triage, wound care, medication administration, and coordination with the Dental and Medical teams.

As a member of the Marquette University Medical Clinic team, the Staff Nurse provides health care to students, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. This RN position functions independently following medical protocols and orders. The RN serves as a health care resource and advocate for students and their families. This is a part time, limited term position without benefits.
Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Must be currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin. Individual must be certified in CPR . Interest and commitment to the educational and preventive aspects of college health are required, as well as a professional practice style compatible with and supportive of Marquette University’s mission.
2-3 years nursing experience in ambulatory care.
Basic computer skills to include e-mail, Teams meetings, Skype IM
Proficient Electronic Health Record skills (Medicat)
Proficient medical equipment skills to include but not limited to electronic blood pressure/pulse/pulse ox/temp, EKG , otoscope, stethoscope, orthopedic equipment
Must comply with the ethical standards of the nursing profession.
Must exercise professional judgement and discretion in the clinical setting and be sensitive to the developmental issues and needs of a diverse campus population.
Interest and commitment to the educational and preventative aspects of college health are required.
Ability to work as a member of health care team with minimal direct supervision.
Nursing experience in college health, outpatient acute care, primary care or public health is essential.
