Job summary

Emler Swim School is hiring a Lifeguard to maintain a safe, positive swimming environment for all ages. You’ll monitor activities, enforce rules, perform rescues, administer first aid, and support instructors.

Set evening and weekend shifts; opportunities to grow into instructor or mentor roles. Requires current Lifeguard, CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications. Competitive hourly pay with benefits and growth.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard, CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (Red Cross or equivalent) required.
• Strong swimming and rescue skills.
• Stay alert and act quickly in emergencies.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and calm under pressure.
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude with great communication skills.
• Must be at least 15 years old.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities to maintain a safe, positive environment.
• Enforce pool rules and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Perform rescues, administer first aid, and use CPR/AED when necessary.
• Conduct safety checks and report hazards or maintenance needs.
• Maintain high attention to reduce risks and promote safety.
• Support swim instructors and educate swimmers on water safety.
• Keep pool area clean and hazard-free.
• Participate in training and safety drills.
