Job summary

Health Wellness Center at Hunterdon Healthcare System in Clinton, NJ, seeks a part-time lifeguard to supervise the pool and aquatic area. Shifts run Monday through Friday from 5:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., offering a scheduling window with a 7-hour day.

The role includes ensuring safety, completing logs, and promoting a positive experience for members and staff. Requirements include at least 1 year lifeguard experience and current Certified Lifeguard with CPR/AED/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: None
• Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 1 year lifeguard experience
• Certified Lifeguard with CPR/AED/First Aid

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool/whirlpool/aquatic area to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Ensure duties are performed according to guidelines.
• Maintain accurate Aquatic Logs.
• Engage with aquatic users, instructors, and supervisors to support member satisfaction.
