Job summary

YMCA of Greater Monmouth County is seeking a part-time lifeguard for the Freehold location. Shifts include early morning and daytime slots (4:45am-9am, 9am-1pm, 1pm-4pm). Primary duties are supervising the pool, enforcing safety rules, and maintaining a safe environment for members.

Applicants should be at least 15 years old with current lifeguard certifications (YMCA/ARC or equivalent) and able to meet readiness standards. Training and certifications are supported by the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 15.
• Lifeguard certifications (YMCA/ARC or equivalent).
• Ability to maintain certification-level readiness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active surveillance of the pool area.
• Enforce safety rules and respond to emergencies.
