Job summary

Corporate in Havre de Grace, MD, is seeking a part-time Lifeguard / Certified Pool Operator. Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/AED Certification.
• Current Pool Operator Certification preferred.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies.
• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
• Lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.
• Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures.
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons and respond to emergencies.
• Provide emergency care until EMS arrives.
• Maintain professional appearance and customer service standards.
• Perform maintenance tasks to keep the facility clean and safe.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports.
• Report policy infractions to Lead Lifeguard or Aquatics Manager.
• Use MCEP for member and guest check-ins at indoor/outdoor pools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
