Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs is seeking a Life Support Program Coordinator to develop, deliver, and evaluate AHA education courses including PALS, ACLS, and BLS. The role coordinates courses, instructors, and RQI management, and involves some remote work with 1–2 days in person.

The position requires an associate degree in a healthcare field, 5 years healthcare experience, and AHA instructor credentials. Licenses and certifications must be current at hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in healthcare field required.
• Five years direct healthcare experience in a relevant role.
• One year of experience as an AHA instructor.
• BLS/CPR certification with at least 6 months remaining.
• Current Colorado Driver's License.
• ACLS or PALS Instructor certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide AHA PALS, ACLS, and BLS certification courses per guidelines.
• Coordinate, manage, schedule courses and instructor assignments.
• Maintain and update life support equipment and supplies.
• Provide AHA instructor training and monitor renewals.
• Manage CHCO RQI system administrator.
• Arrange TNCC/ENPC courses with outside providers.
• Invoice providers and external students.
