Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Part-time Life Enrichment Manager to design and implement personalized Life Skills experiences for residents with memory loss. You will lead daily engagement, organize enrichment activities, and tailor programs using ISPs and profiles to preserve dignity and meaning.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of memory-impaired senior care, strong communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.
• Experience leading group activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation per quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
