Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or LVMT.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations, reviews of care plans and records, lab tests and imaging.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, administering medications, vaccines, and bandaging wounds.
• Assist during examinations and operations by preparing supplies and assisting the veterinarian.
• Maintain medical records and update the patient database accurately and timely.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, ensure cleanliness and sterility, and perform routine maintenance.
